Podgorze is a little off-the-beaten path, but it has an up and coming vibe that makes it a great spot for families visiting the city! The lack of popular tourism makes it a more peaceful area than the Old Town, however, it is still within walking distance of the major sites thanks to a footbridge over the Vistula.

Podgorze is also steeped in history – once the site of the Jewish ghettos during WWII, it also contains many historic buildings and interesting attractions. The bars and restaurants here are a little more understated – so even solo travellers and couples will find something for them in this area!
